The Fundamentals of Communications

Communication has nothing to do with what you say.

Let me rephrase and repeat: what you say, or write, is not what you communicate.

What the other person understands is what you communicated.

Speaking is not the same as communicating. Writing is not the same as communicating.

Checking for understanding is the foundation of communication.
